For anyone interested, here is our Dec/March Newsletter.
As you can read, our volunteers have been beavering away despite the very wet winter weather!
For more regular updates, please check out our Facebook page!

The festive period has just been so busy for group members, with a Christmas tree to festoon at St Just Miners Chapel and wreaths to create with Ali Law from Wild West Flowers.
So we apologise that the general merriment prevented us from giving a more recent update.
As we move into a new year, the group hope to build on our positivity of recent times and begin to plan for what the year may have in store.
Firstly we are thrilled to announce our first fundraising event of 2024!
Mark Holman, esteemed garden designer and horticulturist will be joining us on Friday 9th February at St Just WI Hall to give a talk on ‘Garden Regeneration’.
2023 is St Just in Bloom’s 20th year and we wish to celebrate in style!
We will be hosting a celebration evening at St Just Old Town Hall and will be inviting as many members past and present; and numerous community groups and organisations that I have supported our work over the last 20 years.
We will also be handing out our annual awards for our Gardening, Painting and Photography competitions.
If you wish to attend, please RSVP to the group by November 1st either by our Facebook page or email committee@stjustinbloom.org.uk.
We hope to see as many of you as possible!

Just in time for the Coronation two weeks ago, our Vice Chair Phillipa gave the war memorial steps a little lift. What a difference it makes!
You may have spotted many of our volunteers busy sprucing up our planters, in preparation for our yearly plant delivery. Each planter is assessed, weeded and replenished with fresh soil. This allows each planter to give the best floral display. Hopefully all the efforts will be worthwhile in a few weeks time!

Our annual plant and bake sales kicked off on a very soggy Monday 8th May! Our Chair, Vice Chairs and Secretary all braved the weather to sell a wonderful selection of plants and cakes. We raised a phenomenal £400 thanks to the generous St Justers! So thank you thank you thank you! ❤️
Keep an eye on our Facebook page, when our next sale sale dates will be announced soon.

Hooray it’s competition time again!
Many of you have been keen to know, but we are thrilled to say our gardening and photography competitions are now underway.
If you wish to enter, please pop down to Clemo’s to collect an entry form.
All entries must be received by Saturday 16th July for the judging to commence Wednesday 20th July.
If you need any further information please contact us either on Facebook or via email; info@stjustinbloom.org.uk.
Best of luck to everyone and we can’t wait to see your creations!
