Plant Sales and Planting Day 2026

Posted on: June 5th, 2026

May has been an extremely busy time for us in the group.

Our first plant and bake sale took place Saturday 23rd May outside the Co-op in Market Square and with a kind donation from The Commercial Hotel Quiz nights we raised over £500.

Next up was the Planting Day 2026, which went extremely smoothly. Thank you to Kathryn and Nicola at Cornish Plants for supplying our plants again this year.

Finally, we hosted the Market Cafe at the WI hall on Saturday 30th, offering delicious treats plus more plants and raised over £100 towards our endeavours this season.

Wow, what a brilliant effort from all of our volunteers.
